Today I have an overly brisk, simple and delectable dinner for you, a darkened salmon with avocado salsa. This formula couldn't be more straightforward, you simply season the salmon with a cajun flavoring and after that sear it until fresh and serve it beat with a cool and rich avocado salsa.
The cajun flavoring is loaded with flavor and incorporates a fiery warmth that goes superbly with the rich salmon and the new avocado salsa. The salmon is sautéed at high heat in a skillet until the skin and outside is pleasant and fresh and within stays decent and soggy and delicate.
The avocado salsa goes incredibly well with the darkened salmon and I at times prefer to switch things up a piece by serving it with an avocado and cucumber salsa where the firm and succulent cucumber adds an astonishing surface to everything. For the blackened salmon:
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 (6 ounce) pieces salmon
- 4 teaspoons cajun seasoning
For the avocado salsa:
- 2 avocado, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeno, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- salt to taste
For the avocado and cucumber salsa:
- 2 avocado, diced
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup green onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions :
For the blackened salmon:
- Heat the oil in a heavy bottom skillet over medium-high heat, add the salmon, seasoned with the cajun seasoning, and cook until deeply golden brown to slightly blackened before flipping and repeating for the other side.
For the avocado salsa:
- Mix everything and enjoy on the salmon!
